For all those who have watched the movie 'V for Vendetta' and particularly for those who can quote his speech in the first scene. Since the contest runs until bonfire night, I thought it fair to use our vaudevillian veteran. This is my first ever attempt at proper pumpkin carving, by which I mean, not just cutting out a pair of eyes and fangs and leaving it.
You may be interested to know that I carved the entire thing with a spoon... yes, a melon spoon actually! Also, the nose is made of the off cuts and pulp from the carving, which explains why it's a slightly different colour from the rest of the pumpkin. Surely that's good use of materials!
If I'd had the hat and wig, I assure you I would've added them to make it complete.
